I read this directly outputs from the RTX and not through intel graphics (hopefully im correct on that?) and that this would help give me a better refresh rate than using HDMI. I am currently using a display port to thunderbolt USB-C cable and using the small display port on the left side of the laptop. Im trying to set up the free sync and I'm a little confused and could really use some advice to best optimize this display. its a Dell S2719DGF, 144hz, 1ms response. I recently purchased a 1440p dell gaming monitor. Its the RTX 2060 model with the i7-9750h, 32gb ram upgrade, and some hard-drive upgrades. So i recently purchased a dell 17' G7 last month.
